Hi,

March 11th, I flew a Lufthansa A340-600 from Munich to SFO, but I forgot to check the reg# on it before I left the plane. Is there any chance of checking this? Without contacting Lufthansa?

D-AIHV according to IT system

Nice website but the same aircraft (e.g. HP) isn't able to do MUC-SFO-MUC two days in a row on the current schedule, so must be a glitch.

Thank you very much, both of you! Another question, how far back are airliners keeping the information of which airplane on which route? I have a list that I'm trying to fill out, that dates back to 1994.

I heard that it is roughly 2 years. But this is not confirmed.

According to this the same aircraft would do the flight in consecutive days: 16/17-Mar, 10/11-Mar, 6/7/8-Mar, 3/4-Mar...

I agree, the schedule is:

LH 458, MUC-SFO 1600-2015
LH 459, SFO-MUC 2205-1725+1

I've always trusted flight24 100% but this is making me wonder...

It'll depend where they're getting their information from, and the actual time the "sightings" are recorded at.

DLH458 seen @ 2011-03-12 02:59 CET on route from MUC to SFO

Seen on the 12th early in the morning (CET) means it left MUC on the 11th in the afternoon.
