Any Chance Of An A330 For My Trip?

I'm travelling to Egypt (Hurghada) in late May for 2 weeks with Thomas cook

I'm flying from LGW, and kinda hoping for a trip on a 330 :P, any chance of that happening, or am I more likely to get a 320/757 etc.?

As of yet, I haven't got a flight number so cant post anything more informative. Any idea's guys?

I think there is a very slim chance of an A330 for you. Most very likely that you'll be going on a 757. Most other airlines also operate with a 757 like ZB and TOM to HRG. Sorry to say, I'd rather be on an A330 anyday of the week!

I guess you never have been on a British Charter! The seats on a charter 757 are probably the worst ever legroom in the world. I done 5 and a half hours on it from the UK to Turkey and then another 5 coming back. The reason being the for extremely small legroom is because they are trying to get as many holiday-makers on as possible. I was on a US Airways A333 recently and the legroom I know is not that great but it is a million times better than the charter 757. Anyway on the A333 I had a window seat, not that bad haha.

Yeah but the difference is that Thomas Cook is 9-across and US Airways is 8. I'm shaped like a friggin pencil and I still say elbow room is more important.

I hope I never have the displeasure of a 10-across 777, and certainly not a 9-across 333, or even worse- an 8-across 767!
