Hi Folks,
Flying UA261 LAX to MCO in mid May. Just wondering if this route often has equipment changes. An A320 is scheduled to operate but would love to be on a 757 as we don't have any here in Australia. But we have plenty of Airbii.

LAX-MCO is one of the routes that does go back and forth between 757s and A320s. Not many routes do that, but it is one of the few that does not have very consistant equipment as some days it is an A320 and others 757. The schedule for May is pretty much set, but there are still a few changes happening, so I actually think it is possible that it could be a 757, but if they are selling it as an A320, it most likely will be that.
If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

Quoting n88kb (Reply 2): I assume all the A320s have Channel 9?
All UA mainline aircraft have Channel 9, so yes. The captain may choose to turn it off, however.
