A list would of how many currently do and how many plan on doing one would be much appreciated. Also, who was the first to come up with the idea. The first I saw was the Piedmont (does that count?) one but I'm sure there were prior ones.

- ANA All Nippon Airways
- Austrian Airlines
- Continental Airlines
- Finnair

- Martinair
- SAS Scandinavian
- Southwest (multiple jets)
- TAM (multiple jets)
- TAROM (multiple jets)

Airlines that used to have a retro jet in the past:

Wow I think you got them all! I can't think of any others.

I bet they're not the first, but AA has had a retrojet since early 1999.

When did TZ have a Retro livery? The 25th Anniversary scheme (on a 727 and 757) they had was anything but retro.

G-CPET looks very nice indeed, It's still parked by the fence at the BA engineering base near Hatton Cross (well it was 2 weeks ago)

I'd like to see BA go further, maybe a 744 or a 772 in BOAC colours and an A320 in BEA livery would be nice.

L1011 N194AT operated in old retro colors until 2006 or so. However, I'm not sure if it was an official retro jet or just an aircraft that was many many many years too late for a repaint.

My guess that it's probably the latter... especially since the L-1011s were strictly used for charters at that time.
