I was just looking around on Orbitz, and it seems that AA flights are now bookable again (not just codeshared AA flights, but it seems all AA flights are now bookable there). So when did AA and Orbitz resolve their feud?

Next Trips: BNA-ORD-LHR-JTR, HER-CPH, CPH-ARN-CPH, CPH-LHR-DFW-BNA, BNA-DFW, DFW-BNA-DFW (X3)

Thats interesting. Especially since AA has been bombarding the airwaves with tv commercials advertising the fact that they are not available on Orbitz. I've seen at least three or four of those commercials this week. I wonder what gives?

AA is back up on Orbitz because yesterday an Illinois court ordered AA to immediately reinstate its flights. This battle is still far from over.

Judging from AA's statements, this is indeed 'far from over:'
“This is the exact opposite conclusion than that of the judge who heard the evidence,” Fort Worth, Texas-based American Airlines said in a statement. “We are evaluating our options, but in the meantime, we will, of course, comply with the judge’s order.”

Doesn't matter -- out of sight, out of mind.

I've actually booked an AA flight -- completely forgotten about them -- and booked the same trip on another airline.

At least in my life, they don't exist.

Doesn't really matter imo. If you're on Orbitz chances are you want the cheapest flight and I've never seen the cheapest flights be AA.

It depends on the route... I've seen the cheapest fare with AA a number of times, but it's probably because of the destinations to which I tend to fly.

Seriously? I often find their fares highly competitive, even compared to the likes of LCCs like WN.

Not for where I'm going. I don't often fly between big city pairs though. Maybe if I went JFK-LAX it would be different. But I am mostly a BDL-LSE type of flier.
