Hi all,

I booked a flight on AA and I put in an upgrade using a VIP pass. I was put on a list and was told, assuming biz doesn't fill up with paying customers, I'll have a seat. My question is (AA's customer service line didn't know the answer) is when will the seats open up? She assured me it wasn't one of those 48 hours before the flight deals, but weeks/months out.

Also, does anyone know how to select a seat on an interlined ticket bought on AA.com (no seat selection options)?
