Comfort : I read mixed reviews, some very good, some good and some average to bad. I never tried it yet, so please share with us your impressions when you return . One thing for sure is that the greater space is highly appreciable compared to the sardine can behind the curtain. Reviews seems also to be consistent with the fact that you shouldn't select a bulkhead seat.
Amenities : individual reading light (as in J) and same amenity kit as in J, power port for laptop (or I-pad)
Food : as you said, same as in Y. 2 meal services. Don't know about ice creams.

Flown the route (round trip) in Premium Voyageur last year in July : really comfortable regarding the price!
The additional space is really a plus, especially on the return leg which is a "night" flight.
As I go to US every summers for holidays, I've decided to fly Premium only.
This July, I'll fly CDG-ATL on July,3rd and LAX-CDG on July, 25th, leaving LAX at 0930pm.
