Okay, so I have a comped room and tickets to Vegas that I can use anytime this summer. It just so happens that my favorite group of all time, The Beach Boys will be playing at the Riviera in August. Looking at prices, it looks like the cheapest way to get out there is to fly Frontier PHL-DEN-LAS. All I know about Frontier Airlines is what I saw in one episode of "Undercover Boss." Are they any good? I do know that they charge for the in flight TV, which isn't such a big issue because I have my Kindle, and I'll most likely have my laptop with me.

I've only flown with them once, and from what I have heard they seem to be hit or miss.

I've flew with them a few times in 2009 and had great experiences. Not sure how the culture has changed since then, but I wouldn't hesitate to fly them again. Have fun watching the Beach Boys in Vegas!

I haven't totally decided to go yet (I'm about 80% sure I'll go). I'm still recovering from my broken ankle...therapy 2x a week, rebuilding strength. I am still having trouble walking without a boot on my foot. My therapist says not to worry though.

Okay, so after reading everyone's post here, talking to friends who fly a lot more then me, and realizing that Frontier would require me to leave Vegas at the ungodly hour of 7AM (thus killing a chunk of the day before so I could make sure I'm awake to make my flight), I decided to go with DL. I'll be flying PHL-DTW-LAS-MEM-PHL. Last time I actually flew DL, I was 5 years old, so obviously don't remember much, but a couple years ago, a former member of this site got a group of us a tour of their facilities, and I was impressed. It was that, or considering Southwest, and being on the larger side, I disapprove of how Southwest handles people like me, especially since I can get both armrests down.
Now, last time I flew out of LAS, which was in February, I had an 11:00 PM flight. By the time I got to the gate area, all the restaurants were closing (which baffled me since there were flights departing as late as 2 AM...an Aeromexico flight, I believe). I don't mind being in the airport for several hours as long as I can get food. Does anyone know what time the restaurants close?
