A friend posted something about seeing 2 BA 747s landing at Sky Harbor and sure enough, according to flightaware, BA275 diverted. Anyone know why? And where were both jumbos parked? The high B concourse is usually cramped enough with the one flight to LHR. It must have been chaos with 2 744s' worth of passengers.

Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.

LAS is getting hit with thunderstorms right now.

B-25 for the usual BA289, and B-23 for BA275.

The diverted flight won't be offloaded... they'll throw some more gas on it and push it when the weather gets better.

This is not the first time this has happened.

When I left around 2100 tonight they had both bins open and the k-loaders pulled up. According to the BA website, the flight is scheduled to operate PHX-LAS tomorrow around 12:30.

The flights weren't gated at the same time. Once 288 pushed, 275 pulled into B25.

Ahhhh, monsoon season has finally arrived in the (very dry) great American southwest!

Would be neat to see 2 BIG Speedbirds at Sky Harbor at the same time...

(It will also be nice to see clear blue skies return to Southern Arizona and NM in particular, hopefully minus all that smoke and ash...)
