Am planning to fly London/Heathrow - Madrid in August.

Wanted to try something different rather than the usual IB/BA offerings.

Any recommendations, my options are as follows:

LHR-FCO-MAD, MAD-LIN-LHR Alitalia A32S

LHR-FRA-MAD, MAD-ZRH/GVA-LHR Swiss A32S/Lufthansa A32S

LHR-AMS-MAD, MAD-CDG-LHR Air France AT7,A321/KLM 73G,F100

depends what you want.
LH and LX are the best catering wise, but you'll get boring Airbuses.
KLM/AF might be nice to fly on something rarer, if you are logging flights on airline/aircraft combinations.
AZ is the least preferable; boring aircraft and little food.

nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

I would go for this option, just because you'll get to fly on a variety of aircraft, and not just the A320 family.

Flown on: ATR72-5, Q300, E190, E195, A319/20/21, A332/3, 734/6/G/8, 744, 752/3, 763ER, 772ER/LR

KLM 73G often replaced by 738, 734, 733 or 739, all on demand...
F100's on the LHR-AMS route? Probably possible, but can be replaced by 737's also since very few F100's are around with KLM these days.
