For ARN, It is the TG 747. There are simply no competition. Most other aircraft are 737s and other narrow-bodies. This beautiful bird in her beautiful new livery is simply the king (or queen  )

I prefer the cargo 747-200s! Loads of noise, thats cool!   I like the KL 77W and Surinam Airways A340 (we don't get this beautiful plane so much). The SK MD80s are great too!

Yes, they are beautiful, but it aslo about the a/c type, and I like A340 NG better than A340 classic.

PS: I so wish, Air Tahiti Nui had order A340 NGs, and used them on routes to LAX. That be would be one of the most beatiful bird at LAX.

Damn you people are lucky! Here in RI there's only one airport, PVD, which doesn't take any wide-body.

Nicest thing here is a Fedex 727-200. Comes every weekday. RI is so small, basically from anywhere, you can hear the 727 takeoff at night, pretty much always on time around 8:58pm! I love when i leave my windows open at night and i can hear the takeoff, and i don't even need to look at a clock as i know it's just about 9pm!

We have WAY too many Southwest 737's here. We have maybe 3 or 4 Delta MD88's per day, and a bunch of CRJ's... We also get a UPS 757 which is pretty loud at night, takes off just before the Fedex, at around 8:40pm.

I feel like a stalker that i know all of this...

At MIA:

AF A320
LH A380
AA 777
Bahamasair 737-200
Air China 747-400
Cathy 747-400
Transaero 747-400
LX A340
LAN 767
Really all the long haul planes are the best and a few other things like the AF A320 and some classic planes. MIA has a lot of great planes.

Well, here in CBR we get the stunning diversity of Q400, E70/90 and 734/H.

I guess I'll say that a QF 73H was my "favourite", but that says just how dreary things are in this part of the world!

At BNE (I still consider Brisbane "home") I would go with:

Emirates 77W (My favourite plane from my favourite airline!)
China Southern 772
Korean Air 333

Well, in PER there isn't much for me as a 777 fanboy. EK sends 1 77L and 1 77W daily to PER, and MH sends the 77E on one of its KUL-PER flights (the other is operated by an A333).

There's also a QF 744 once daily going to SYD, and numerous QF domestic 763ERs and the NZ 763ER. Other than that, it's mostly A330s.

We get 2 380 a day, AF and LH and they are always parked next to each other.

Otherwise it is a mix of 744, 777, 343, 346 and a plethora of narrow bodies including 732, 735, 738 and whatever Africa throws at us!

Well what can I say about LHR? Certainly less now than if you'd asked me the same question when I was a kid and was on my weekend/school holiday visits to the airport. I'm sure that the same could be said of a lot of international airports, but back then there used to be a greater variety of aircraft types to get all excited about! Tridents, Viscounts, DC10s, VC10s, Tristars, 747s, 747SPs, 707s, DC8s, DC9s, the early Airbus models, 727s, 737s etc., etc., and then of course there was the venerable Concorde, which always caused an excited stir among the spotters on the Queen's Building when it left the terminal!

Anyway, I digess (and should probably stop living in the past!). These days the arrival of an Oman Air A330 always gets my attention, such a beautiful livery on a good-looking aircraft. Always nice to see an A380 too, although the jury's still out with me as to whether I think it's a good-looking aircraft, or still just a novelty. Also any airline (apart maybe from BA) that still sends us a 747 these days is always nice to see too. Hmmm, I think I may be getting slightly jaded by what seems to be a constant stream of BA (among others too numerous to mention) A32x Airbuses!

I love the classic props and jets we see at YVR

CV580 - Kelowna Flightcraft / Purolator
HS748 - Air North
Beech 18 - Van City Seaplanes
DHC Beaver - probably close to 100 movements per day and each smokey start never gets old...
727 - Kelowna Flightcraft / Purolator & Cargojet (FX are now 757  )
737 200 - Air North

Oh yes. Your reaction is why it is on the top of my list. Used to be the IB A319. AF has been flying in MIA for decades now and it did not start with flights to Paris. AF does MIA-PAP daily with an A320. AF has two A320's I think based in the Carribean this is just one of the routes it does. AF also does MIA-SDQ seasonally.

Well here at BNA there isn't much diversity, it's WN 737 after 737, and RJ after RJ, but there are still a few aircraft I enjoy seeing. I still enjoy watching the DL DC-9's take off on a hot summer day rotating just before the end of the runway. Thats always exciting. I like seeing the AA 737-800's daily usually on the LAX run, and sometimes they're on a DFW run also. I don't like the A319/320 in the DL livery, I liked it much more in the NW livery. Occasionally we'll get a 757 on DL from ATL, the Fedex A310 that departs to IND at 10 every night is very nice, but what I miss most of all is the China Airlines cargo 747-400 we used to get every weekday from ANC. I really hope they resume some sort of cargo op out of BNA soon.
