Hi all,

As many of you know I'm a die hard LCC flyer. But on Nov 13, a Sunday, I will have to connect between FR and W6 and will have 1 hour 45 minutes for it. Normally not a problem since I use small airports but MAD is in a different league.

How busy is T1 on sundays, and assuming FR is on time which it almost always is, do i have enough time?

I will be flying ACE MAD BUD

KL911

It shouldn´t be a problem, usually it´s very fast. Another thing is if you need to go to T-4, but T-1, T-2 and T-3 are very close.

You'll be fine. As migair54 said, it would be a totally different thing if you needed to transfer to T4.

Next flights: AV BOG-ADZ-BOG, AV-UA BOG-IAD-ORD-IAD-BOG, BOG-FLL-BOG, LA BOG-MIA-BOG J

If you have no bags to check and if you preprint your onward boarding pass you'd even be able to remain airside (in transit) saving time to go to arrivals, back to departures and reclear security. If there is no delay, you should be fine. However if you have time and a longer connection is possible price and schedule-wise, I would probably go for a longer connection, just to be on the safe side (you never know...)

Plenty of time. Just the other week it took me 40 minutes to go from T2 (UX), to T1, get rebooked for a US flight, check in, and clear security.

Thanks guys!

I have a second option, that is going ACE - MAD - FCO - BUD with Ryanair, Easyjet and Wizzair. connections times will be 5 and 3 hours, so a bit more safe. You never know the delays..

I assume Easyjet is using T1 as well? And does anyone know which terminal in Rome Easyjet and Wizzair use?
