According to Flightstats.com, CU 152 is supposed to be operated by Blue Panorama. However, that's a little confusing as the equipment says YAK-42. I thought BV's partnership with CU included a 767-300...any takers?

Eh, after numerous (and I do mean NUMEROUS!) discussions about aircraft and their safety records, it rarely (if ever) boils down to age. The age of an aircraft is usually only mentioned when associated with operating costs, such as fuel consumption and maintenance.
If it's all the same to them, don't tell them it's an old Russian jet. Most air travelers are almost completely oblivious when it comes to aircraft types. There's the jets, and there's the propellors...that's about it. Just think of the movie Airplane! : "Oh, it's a big pretty white plane, with red stripes, and curtains in the windows, and wheeeeels, and it looks like a big tylenol!"

It's less about the plane and more about the safety and maintenance program at the airline
