Airports With The Most Turboprops

Which airport leads the pack as far as turboprop movements go? I was hoping to find as current of data as possible and then make a list of the top ten ( either globally or regionally)

YTZ. All commercial traffic is Turboprop, and 99.9999% of total traffic is Prop as well.

Depends on if you are looking for percentages or the actual number of movements.

Off hand, I could say that PDX and SEA have a nice chunk. Likewise SLC and SFO and YVR and YYC have a decent amount of movements.

Window seats may be over-rated, but I'll take a window seat on a DC9 anyday

I'd look at EWR, BOS, IAD, and LGA too. They all have multiple airlines flying turboprops in and out on a regular basis.

I'd bet that FRA and MUC would be pretty high on the list as well - LH regional seems to use a decent percentage of turboprops.

Frankfurt has got exactly 3 Turboprop routes.

FlyBe to Glasgow via Southampton (Dash 8-400)
Lufthansa operated by Cirrus to Hof/Plauen (DO328)
Luxair to Luxembourg (Dash 8-400)

AKL is overrun with turboprops, many airlines fly in with them, from Trislanders (OK not strictly turboprop but you know what I mean), up to Be1900s, ATRs and DHC8s.

Where is the flybe home base in the UK? I think that would be high on e list. Also all the US Express Dash 8s in PHL.

Have a go at downloading "Airline Route Mapper" - you can see worldwide scheduled service and view by type on a world map. Simply select all of the props on the list and see them appear!
