I flew SIN-AMS on SQ last year and noted that the 772ER I flew on that route still had their old Business Class seats. Have things changed? Has SQ finished installing their new (wide) Business Class seats on the 772ERs they use for the SIN-AMS route? Thanks.

I thought that SQ weren't going to install the new seats on the 772ER. AFAIK, no 772ER has the new product (yet?).

I was assuming SQ were going to retire the 772ER's soon, but with 787/A350 delays, this might be postponed, and possibly the new seats will be installed.

However, don't take my word for it, there are many other members here with better and more accurate information about SQ.

My understanding is that they're not going to be fitted with the new long haul J product (wide seats) but some of them have already been fitted with the new regional J product:

Y class product remains the same, albeit with new seat covers.

Thanks, CXB77L.

But then I saw this on the SQ website:

Is this the same seat? or something new?

No, it's not the same seat. It's a new one. Look under the 'medium haul business' tab. But I don't know which aircraft has been refitted and whether they are operating the refittted 77Es to AMS.

They still have the same seats on this aircraft. Definitely not as good as their other planes, but still a significant improvement over KLM's seats.
