I'm supposed to fly on BA903 and BA780 the upcoming saturday. These flights are used to be operated by 767's and they were listed to fly with 767s when I booked. (Quite a big reason for me to book these flights in the first place).
But for some reason when I check my booking now both of the flights seem to be operated by Airbus-machinery. Is there something I've missed? Scedule-changes? They seem to be mostly operated by 767 until know when I have a look at the flights on data.flight24.com.
Thanks for any help on this. I'll do the flights anyway, but it's such a pity if I won't fly on the 767 on saturday.

Dont worry, you are not missing anything. The interiors of the short haul 767s are falling apart - though will be better when the cabin refits start appearing.
I was on the 439 from AMS two weeks ago and it was operated by a long haul 767. Quite a surprise to get a 767 and a bed for a 50 minute flight.

Well okay. I see your point. However, my main reason for choosing BA and these flights was the fact that I've never flown the 767 before. And I'm one of those guys trying to log new a/c-types etc. So in case it ends up with two Airbuses instead of the 767 I'll be slightly disappointed. But anyway I'll get the flights with BA which will be a first-timer for me anyway.

Quoting Richie72 (Reply 3): Seems to be your unlucky day Wester Flyer...
BA780/781 is 99.9% operated by 767 however just this weekend it is replaced by a 320 according to the GDS .
From next Saturday its back on again and flying daily on the ARN run for the foreseeable future .
Well. That¨s just bad luck. To bad I ain't gonna fly the 767 on saturday. But I'm not gonna let that ruin the journey totally. It's gonna be two flights with BA anyway. Just crossing my fingers that there will two different a/c operating those two legs so there can be two different a/c in my log. But we'll see about that. I wonder if there's any chance they gonna put a A321 on one of the legs? That would also be a new one for me.
