Just booked my next business trip to Germany and booked a Oneworld mix in business class flying QF and CX between Australia and Asia and AY between Asia and Europe. Flew AY for the first time in May this year and really enjoyed their service in business class and loved to transit through Helsinki. I do have 2 questions:
1) Can I reserve a seat on AY's website or do I need to call them. I was curtain I managed to reserve seat on their website earlier this year but can't seem to find the function.
2) What are my chances of getting one of AY's A330 with the new business class on one of my flights. I'll be on AY 82 from SIN-HEL January 11 and on AY 69 from HEL-HKG January 20.

1) As far as I know you can reserve a seat from the "Manage my booking"-section in their website.
2) Pretty nonexistent. SIN is too long a route to fly with an A330 and HKG route carries a lot of cargo so it needs the A340. This summer when they had two daily flight to HKG the other one was operated with an A330 since they could carry the cargo on the night one and the Finnair Cargo flight.

thanks for getting back to me. I am 100% sure I was able to reserve a seat in the "manage my booking" section in May but it does not gee me that option this time. Will just give Finnair a call when I get back to Australia end of November.
