Most likely the day I'm flying - Wednesday (evening).
I've got a stop both ways to JFK and that was still the most expensive domestic ticket I've ever bought.

From the years working there, the day before seems the worst ( Sorry bonusonus ) The build up is bad on Tuesday, but Wed does seem the worst. I don't even try to drive down Sepulveda to get to work. I will be there.

believe it or not, the sunday before Thanksgiving is the busiest for Thanksgiving. I'm would think it has to do with fares being lower then when you get closer to the holiday. I believe it though. We always get our butts kicked that Sunday.

When I lived in LA, in 2007 I flew to DFW on an early am Wednesday flight. The security line was out the door. Luckily I had my work ID and pulled the "I'm an airline employee" and the TSA person let me hop in the front of the line. Only time I've done that. Saved my arse.
