Quoting AsianDude (Reply 1): I'd never even heard of this airline until I Googled it. It went dead in 1972, before I was born. So, no I haven't flown them! LOL
Yeap, even in Sg most people my age don't know about MSA. After Malaysia and Singapore split in 1965 they continued to have one airline and they were fine with it that way but both sides had different focuses for the airline so they decided to seperate.
Quoting Initious (Reply 2): It would be interesting to see how MSA is like as all the info I have now is their fleet and livery. Wonder if their service is as good as MH + SQ now.
Quoting HT (Reply 3): It would not be fair to compare a 1972 airline with today's airlines.
Havent seen cabin photos yet except for a video I found on youtube, but I imagine it would be better back then. Airlines weren't all packed in during those times. I remember seeing pics of United in the 60s and it was amzing. There was even a lounge in Economy!
Quoting FlyboyOz (Reply 4): Yeah i remember the logo and livery...it was MSA with yellow and black.
I'm glad SQ went with deep blue and gold instead lol. Did you fly MSA?
