Hey guys and gals,

Looking for any info that you people can provide me on flying in Business Class on Air India's A321's.

The route in question is BKK-DEL-MAA. Both sectors are operated by A321's.

I've searched trip reports on here, looked at the AI website, even checked out Skytrax but the information is really limited!

Can anyone tell me if the seats are comfortable? Are their PTV's? or any IFE at all? How are the J lounges in DEL?

Thanks guys!

Very basic and uncomfortable seats. Food is disgusting. Same a Y. I would avoid AI all together, and just fly EK. There is no Ife or tv's on AI A321's. Lounge is also very basic in DEL. EK lounges are amazing!

Well, not sure BASTEW will find a EK flight to do BKK-DEL-MAA though...
And I'm not sure the OP wishes to go all the way to DXB just to fly EK, right ?
Price should also be considered, I guess.

shows us, that PTV's are installed in Y, so will have to be as well in J. J seats are quite similar to 9W's J seats in their 737's, so cradle seats with monitor. Actually quite comfy. Food with AI can be average, but also very, very good. You will never be hungry on any domestic Indian full-service flight (except with IT   ). DEL has become a pretty neat airport to transfer at as well. I'd suggest them, as they actually aren't as bad as they are said to be.

Don't be a fool, think about what you're writing!
