Looks like Jeffy S. and the guys and gals at United have decided to open an online FYI website that will let you know everything you ever wanted to know about the merger and the new United, but were afraid to ask. There is also an interactive forum to address concerns in customer service, general knowledge and just plain banter about the new United. As far as I know, this is the only airline in the world with a dedicated website like this. Check it out and share your opinions !!!!
I think this is a great step in the right direction from a P.R. standpoint. Hopefully it will pan out into showing that the new United is a caring company that is concerned about the welfare of its customers, the happiness of their workers, and the soundness of their company as an investment.
Despite all the negative nellies out there who see nothing but bad in this merger, I see a real effort to change the culture and improve the product and grow the company. The verdict is out on Jeffy S. and his officers, but I have been impressed so far.

I think it's awesome AND the best looking of any of the new look and feel. It must have been designed by the Internet agency and not Lippincott.

So what have you been most impressed with so far? The fact that co-worker jeff rewarded himself with $12 million for SOC completion? The fact that he still stonewalls the employee groups at the negotiating table? The fact that he imposed an unsafe training program on ALL safety related employees (not just pilots) just to save a buck? The fact that he has let employee moral get even WORSE after Glenn "employee moral is not my problem" Tilton left? Maybe you are impressed with the fact that he has painted "hundreds of airplanes" which seems to be the only thing he can brag about. This airline may someday be something really special, but it will take a true leader. Co-worker jeff is not that man.

One thing I noticed...when you check a flight on CO's website that's operated on CO metal, it'll let you check the status of whatever flight that aircraft's operating beforehand...this way, you can see if the aircraft's delayed and whether that'll affect your flight. This feature's not yet working for flights operating on UA metal...IMHO this feature really comes in handy, and I hope it's retained when the merger's complete.
