I went to PHX to visit family for the holidays on BA. However, I didn't manage to get the reg numbers of the aircraft flown on. I did a quick search but couldn't find anything. Could someone please help me?

Flights:

23dec AMS-LHR BA0431 767
23dec LHR-PHX BA0289 747
7jan PHX-LHR BA0288 747
8jan LHR-AMS BA0440 a narrow body Airbus...

Thanks

BA431 was operated by G-BZHB
BA289 was opertaed by G-BNLW according to http://www.lhr-lgw.co.uk/

According to http://data.flight24.com/ :

BA288 was by G-CIVU. (According to a poster in another forum, flight 24 goes by date landed)
BA440 was flown by G-EUUG

Hope that helps

Are you sure about that?

According to http://data.flight24.com/ it was operated by G-BNLY...I wonder which is correct.

I also came to this conclusion while tracking a flight last week. See the details here : Delta Reg Request (by TurkishWings Jan 3 2012 in Aviation Polls)

Cheers.

Thanks, unfortunately that doesn't explain the different regs found for BA289.

That's confusing indeed, but I think there's something wrong with the flight24 page for BA289 compared to the BA288 page showing a different reg. for each day. I tried to look at Plane Finder and found that G-BNLY flew LHR-IAD (BA293) on 23/12 (tried to look on flight24 for this but the page also seem to be wrong  ). Now if the BA288 page on flight24 is correct, G-BNLW arrived from PHX at LHR on 24/12, having flown LHR-PHX the day before
Sorry for the bad explanation, I woke up at 4:30 this morning

Thank you Airtrainer

So then I guess I'll enter G-BNLW in flightmemory.com.

This is correct, it was NLW.

A trick I use is when there's only one flight into the airport (such as BA at PHX) I have a look to see what airplane operated the LHR-PHX, since the same airplane always leaves outbound on the PHX-LHR leg.
