I know AA used to fly JFK-AUA non-stop. I believe 2x or 3x weekly.
I can't find it anymore. Is it seasonal? Have they cut it?
I found it on flightaware under AA679. However, last flight recorded was on August 2011.
The flight number now corresponds to a cross crountry flight via DFW.
Any info on the past, present, and future of this route will be greatly appreciated.

I looked hard and I can't find it either. I know for sure it used to operate Saturday only during the slow season. It appears to be another cut.

I'm seeing the last flight on November 12, 2011.
Quoting emirates202 (Reply 1): It was probably cut due to jetBlue's once or twice daily, and delta through ATL.
I'm sure the bankruptcy and competition from B6's, DL's, and UA's nonstops from NY have something to do with it, however, DL flying to AUA from ATL is pretty irrelevant considering AA flies 2 daily 757s from MIA. Why not mention US's CLT and PHL flights or UA's IAD, IAH, and ORD flights?
