Quoting Longhornmaniac (Reply 3): requiring people to include their gender and race seems a bit in poor taste. Those types of things are never required, and understandably so.
Your statement would be true in a society ripe with overbearing political correctness. But market research is paramount for businesses studying any range of market dynamics for their product/service, and gender and race aren't exclusive of that.

I certainly appreciate the comments and the feedback, and I will be happy to report back our general findings after my team and I compile the results. We are up to 105 responses so far, and I'm glad to see that number continuing to rise.
All nonstop flights are direct, but not all direct flights are nonstop!
