As part of a marketing project at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia, I am part of a team of students tasked with formulating improvements to the branding and market strategy of SkyMall, the shopping magazine often found in airline seatback pockets. If you have a few minutes of time, I would very much appreciate it if you could answer several opinion-based questions at the following link regarding this research. I also encourage you to add any additional comments and suggestions you have regarding SkyMall to this thread.

Done. A very well put-together survey.
Quoting Longhornmaniac (Reply 3): requiring people to include their gender and race seems a bit in poor taste. Those types of things are never required, and understandably so.
Your statement would be true in a society ripe with overbearing political correctness. But market research is paramount for businesses studying any range of market dynamics for their product/service, and gender and race aren't exclusive of that.

Thanks for the responses and the encouragement, everyone!
I certainly appreciate the comments and the feedback, and I will be happy to report back our general findings after my team and I compile the results. We are up to 105 responses so far, and I'm glad to see that number continuing to rise.
