It's been a long time since I've seen actual parking at arrivals. Seems as though at all airports you cannot leave your car unattended, and I've seen airport police move right in when a car gets deserted--even if the driver is making a quick run into the terminal to check times or use the bathroom, etc.
Remember, "the red zone is for loading and unloading only" (or was that the white zone?)

I think PHX used to have this at Terminal 2 parking garage. Not sure if this is available anymore since they now have the cell phone lot just west of Terminal 2.

Quoting talisaman (Thread starter): In Nashville, TN we have 10 min parking spots at arrival floor.
That is not exactly correct. Nashville has the 10-minute stalls but you cannot leave the car unattended in them, so I would not call them "parking spots" more like "idling spots".

At RNO you can park in the short term garage free for about 15 minutes. It is directly across the street from the arrival/departure areas. I think it is just a dollar if you overstay a bit, which is usually inevitable unless your timing is perfect. Most people just use the cell phone lot which is free. Unfortunately it has been moved inconveniently far from the terminal. It now takes 3-4 minutes.

T2 parking garage is still there - used it the other week. Very convenient that it's a 2 minute walk car to terminal.

I am very aware that it is still there, but is the short term parking free? My guess is now that they have the cell phone lot west of T2, it is not.

The only airport I have seen with legitimate parking spots is at Rockford Illinois. It's a small airport, but all parking is free and there are parallel parking spots at the arrivals/departures drive in addition to the main lot which is also free.
