Hi Everyone,
I'm planning on doing a trip to Berlin and Dubai in May, and after doing some research (and eliminating KL and QR), I have to choose between taking one of the following options -
KWI-LHR-TXL-LHR-DXB on BA (and then Jazeera Airways to Kuwait)
KWI-FRA-TXL-VIE-DXB on LH/OS (and then Jazeera Airways to Kuwait)
or
KWI-DXB-MUC-TXL-MUC-DXB-KWI all on EK (plus the A380 on the sectors between KWI and MUC.
They are all comparable price-wise and am hoping to travel in J.
I've flown on all of those airlines (except for OS, which I havent flown since i was 5), and have also sampled the A380 before.
I like all three and am not sure which to choose...

EK all the way! I've been on LH/BA J, and they were ok, but EK's is the best.

I think BA is the best. I have heard a lot of complaints about the Club World seats being too dense with the 2-4-2 layout, but I really do not mind it, especially on the window seats. I think BA has the most consistent J class throughout its fleet, and it is a really nice product. EK is nice depending on what plane you end up flying... The one on the A380 is the best business class they have, so that would be worth trying. I have never flown LH J, and do not plan to even try, at least until they change their not-lie-flat seats.

VIE-DXB on an outdated B767-300ER is for me a no go...

All the way EK? Impossible... AFAIK EK is NOT flying between TXL and MUC. This service will be either served by LH (no go due to Terminal change from 2 to 1) or AirBerlin (no go due to the lack of BusinessClass)!
Have you tried EY? It is worth a try to LHR on their A333 or A346. their business class is very nice and should be one of the best as I heard from many people.
But this will bring up the price due to different carriers involved.
Otherwise stick with BA, too bad you will not be flying on 744 out of KWI which will discontinue end of this month.
