SGD$211.17 for SIN-SYD return, inclusive all taxes, carry on baggage only.

How long can they sustain such fares???

$88 SYD-SIN seems very tempting, if only for the fun of it... There are just launch fare -- long term, OQ has said that their fares will be roughly 40% below full service airlines. On SYD-SIN, this will be about $6-700 return, which is pretty similar to what JQ charges from MEL.

Did anyone else get any Scoot tickets at the launch fare of AUD88?

I am off for a weekend to Singapore for the same price it would cost to go SYD-MEL or SYD-BNE

Looking forward to it. But the fares are only opening specials. If only.

I managed to get SYD-SIN and SIN-OOL for 2 (booked as 2 flights) for around $420 AUD with checked baggage, fantastic prices!
Of course they can't be sustained in the long-term, but drastically discounted fares is a common practice for a LCC when starting a new route (or airline) in this case, to attract customers.Scoot has said publicly that they don't expect to be making any profit within the first 2 years
