Anyone know what caused the BA 874 LHR-DME to be cancelled this afternoon?
Apparently the aircraft (763) took off and then the captain announced a return to LHR due to a minor technical issue after about 30 minutes in the air, and the aircraft was met by fire engines upon arrival.

Update from thebasource.com:
Aircraft took off from LHR and levelled off at 7,000 ft before returning to Heathrow (paraphrased). No cabin service and no turning off the fasten seatbelt signs. The flight was subsequently cancelled upon arriving back at LHR 30 minutes later.
A friend on board mentioned that the pilot announced a minor technical fault that could be not resolved at DME, therefore the return to Heathrow.
If anyone knows the nature of the problem, I'd be most interested to know. The plane (G-BNWU) was out of service the rest of the day on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd and was next seen operating the BA 63 to Entebbe on the evening of the 23rd.
