Can anyone shed some light on the 737-800s that UA is using for HKG-SIN and HKG-SGN (any other routes?)? Are these the old Continental Mike aircraft? According to Seat Guru, these planes have PTVs at each seat. But according to my UA reservation for SIN-HKG-SIN, these planes do not have PTVs.
Also, is the crew still SIN-based as used to be the case for the SIN-HKG and SIN-NRT routes before? What about the captain and FO?

I've flown this route several times over the past few months. None of the aircraft had PTVs.
I had assumed that all of the crews flying this route were either SIN- or HKG-based. However on my last flight (UA117, 5th April) one of the inflight announcements revealed that the entire crew was actually Guam-based. I'm making this trip again in early May. I'll ask one of the FAs about basing.
