Newcastle To Orlando - Direct

We are looking to book a holiday to Orlando for August 2013.

The plan is to fly direct to Orlando Sanford from Newcastle.

Two airlines fly this route;

a) Monarch - A330-200
b) Thomson - 767-300

The Monarch A330 looks very cramped. They have got 9 abreast seating compared to 8 abreast on a typical A330 layout.

The Thomson 767 seems to have two different seating plans, 2-3-2 and 2-4-2.

Does anybody know which configuration Thomson will use on the Newcastle to Orlando route next year?

There's no contest as far as i'm concered, it's Thomson everytime. MON's A332 lack seat pitch and seat back IFE over Thomsons 763's. You might find my aircraft guide useful. Is it the TOM426/7 or TOM670/1 you're looking at? G-OBYD (ex-TOM) is operating the 426/7.

I think there will be only one option for 2013. Flight code 13029 according to the brochure.

My wife only wants to fly from Newcastle.

But I've just realised Thomson will be operating 787 flights from Manchester next year... might try and persuade her to go from MAN.
