OK folks, bear with me but I promise that this will be my last post about gold/blue UA stock.
Back in the early 2000s (I think), UA issued blue cardstock boarding passes for economy pax and gold cardstock for business/first class pax. Before the merger with CO, this stock was put into "general" use for all pax flying UA. You could be an economy pax with a gold boarding pass; it just depended on where you checked in/got your boarding pass.
But that's all gone now. Kiosks print only on the flimsy paper while some do print on heavy stock, but it's just white. I once asked a UA agent if they have any of the colored stock left over but she said it's now all gone.
If that really is the case, does it exist it all anymore? Or, does anyone know of some UA-nostalgia place where I could find some (blank) stock?

I cannot promise that the card stock is all gone. However, if any were to be still be in circulation I can promise you that you could not get some for souvenir/ hobby reasons. Ticket stock is a highly controlled item. Heck, when I worked ticket counter I had to sign off on receiving the ticket stock, then, have another agent verify it was loaded as required.
United, like most airlines, have gone forward in decreasing excess costs, and this is one of them. With more and more passengers using their smart phones as boarding passes, the need and desire to use the card stock has decreased. Most pax don't even keep their old boarding passes so, why would an airline who is VERY committed to helping the environment use more resources for unnecessary items.
I'll admit that I am an airline junkie and employee, with most of my flights being to/from SAN, ORD and IAH, I don't find the need to keep the boarding passes. I do, keep the stub from international/ first trips. Which, serve as nice momento's.
