Hey guys
I'm new to posting actual threads here so sorry if this isn't the right forum
I'm just wondering if it's actually possible to book Japanese domestic flights and even international flights longer than 4-6 months in advance? I'm going Feb next year and MM (Peach) have really good fares over to ICN but I can't book. Is it possible or will I have to wait? I originally was going to fly KE but Peach saves about $320!!
Has anybody flown Peach? How is it? Verses KE what do you think?
Also, how do you think JQ Japan will go? I've got some flights booked with them too.
What do you think of JL v NH ? I want to try their domestic product as well...
Thanks guys!!

I also would like to know which one has the cheapest price between HND and ITM. I am going to be flying on this route this summer. I would prefer the 788.

Japanese airlines tend to make bookings for purely domestic flights available on their own website 2 or 3 months in advance only, but flights can be booked through the usual brokers (like Expedia et al) earlier - however discounted fares often are not available via these brokers.
Domestic flights in Japan as part of an international routing (on a single PNR) usually can be booked like 10 - 11 months in advance, so "February 2013" should be no problem right now.

? Do they show you already fares for that period but do not accept bookings yet ? That would be strange.
Another option to fly to SEL (ICN or GMP) from either NRT or KIX would be Eastarjet (of Korea), but IIRC there are some restrictions (round-trip required) - and I am only aware of the fares FROM ICN.
If you intend to combine Japan with South Korea anyhow, have a look into options to fly longhaul into South Korea and then make a short hop across the Sea of Japan. Might be cheaper that way.
If you intend to fly around in South Korea consider to base yourself at one of the hotels at Unseo, 5 min on the airport metro from ICN and 25 min on the same metro from GMP (for most domestic flights). Fares on the Metro are cheap (less than 1 US$ Unseo to ICN, slightly more to GMP). IM me if you need more input about domestic travel in south Korea.

Go to NH's japanese website directly. They have all the information (incl the number of seats left for a certain fare class) at hand and booking with them is easy (even from outside Japan using a foreign Credit Card). Make sure to book as early as possible.
Depending on what exactly your defintion of "this summer" is, cheapest fare classes might already be taken.
