Etihad 1.5 Hr Connection In AUH

Hi all!

My dad gave me a great "gift" last week, to book his 2 week business trip!  

The routing he gave me was Iceland-Prague-Geneva-Prague-Moscow-Dubai-Bahrain-Iceland. He gave me kind of a free hand to choose his flights, and already I've booked:

KEF-CPH Icelandair
CPH-PRG Norwegian
PRG-GVA-PRG Cessna Citation (Was invited by his business partner in Czech to join him on this   )
PRG-WAW-MOW LOT
MOW-DXB Emirates
DXB-BAH Flydubai

For BAH-KEF, I found the most convenient + lowest fare combination to be BAH-AUH-LHR-KEF on Etihad and FI. The connection in Abu Dhabi is 1:35 hrs. Isn't that safe? He only has hand luggage if that matters. After almost 2 weeks of travelling he wants to get home on time to his family, that's the reason I ask.  

If it isn't, I have to book a earlier flight with a 4 hr connection that leaves at 5 am...

I think he should be fine. As long on the flight is on time, he should have time to leisurely walk to the gate to make his at AUH.
