I've had a few strange dreams about flying recently, most likely related to the Australia trip I'm in the process of planning, and I thought it would fun to share them. I'm sure other people here also have dreams involving aviation, so feel free to share yours as well!
In my most recent dream I'm flying from some small, remote Australian town to some other even smaller, more remote Australian town. This required a connection somewhere. The first leg of this trip was on a Dash 8, and the second was to be on a plane I think I just invented in my dream that looked like a cross between a Twin Otter and a Jetstream 31 (picture something like a low-winged Twin Otter or a Jetstream with fixed gear). In the middle of the first flight the captain informed us that it just so happened that every single person on this flight was connecting to the same final destination, so they were going to save us the stop and just fly us directly there. As soon as he said that *poof* just like that the plane suddenly wasn't a Dash 8 anymore; it had turned into that Twin Otter/Jetstream thing I just described. Looking out the window the change was quite striking as it had suddlenly gone from a high-winged plane to a low-winged one.
In the other dream I had recently, I'm on a Qantas A380. The cabin looked exactly like the pictures of the Y cabin I'd seen on this site. The seats were extremely soft and cushy. Then at some point I looked out the window and it looks like we're flying extremely low -- as in a few hundred feet above the ground. The FA informed me that we were in fact at our cruise altitude, and what I was seeing was an optical illusion caused by the plane's sheer size.
Lastly, I haven't had this one recently but I used to have a recuring dream in which I'm at the airport (or I should say an airport as they never look anything like any airport I've been to in real life, although in one version of the dream it did have a passing resemblance to the Lindburg Terminal at MSP). I've apparently lost my boarding pass and I can't remember what flight I'm supposed to be on or even what city I'm flying to and am desperately searching for an airline employee who can help me, but there's no one around.

I haven't had dreams of flying really though I did used to have kinda dreams of flightsim! I used to lie there in my bed and feel I was approaching an airport at 10,000ft in an airliner. Very nice feeling.

I have them all the time. After I wake up, I realize the planes I dreamed I was on were nothing like the real thing, such as the L-1011 I dreamed I was on where people were standing up and looking out windows on the front, like on a bus. I also dreamed once I was on an L-1011 train, with 2-5-2 seating.

That one I have frequently and is not really related to your future travels. If it´s not the boarding pass I´ve lost, it´s my passport or on another variation, I´m stuck in traffic and can´t get to the airport. I usually have that type of dream when I´m about to reach a goal (like a deadline on a work project) that´s been pretty difficult and stressful in reaching. According to some experts I´ve talked to, that dream is pretty normal when you are going throuch such real life events.
