Hi all,
I'm flying DL this Sunday from JFK to CDG. I have a friend that is flying DL connection from JFK to BNA the same day, which got me wondering as to whether DL has specific destinations that always depart from a specific terminal. I seem to recall that regional flights depart from T2. However, are international flights a toss up as to whether it departs from T2, T3, or T4 on a given day or is there a method to their madness?

Thanks in advance for the insight.
International flights will either be in T3 or T4.

Quoting 1337Delta764 (Reply 1): International flights will either be in T3 or T4.
Just for clarification, all DL international flights (for example, flights to LHR, NRT, TLV, CDG, GRU etc.) may depart from either T3 or T4 on any given day? If that is the case, does it matter which terminal passengers departing from JFK arrive at to check in for their flight?
Quoting B6JFKH81 (Reply 2): If that is an regional jet flight, that would be out of T2...
Thanks.. I had a feeling that all regional departures were from T2.

I don't know about specific gate assignments, however, yes international flights may either be from T3 or T4 depending on flight. The plan is for DL to consolidate all international flights on T4 and for T3 to be demolished. You can walk from T2 to T3 without exiting security, however, to get to T4 you have to take an airside shuttle bus.
Also, T2 isn't only regional jets; I had a PHX-JFK flight last month on a 738 and it used T2.

Thanks for your responses! In any case, my boarding pass seems to indicate that the flight tomorrow should be leaving from T4. I'm slightly disappointed since I hadn't flown from T3 in quite a few years and was hoping to see it once more, despite all the negative feedback.
