I have never given out any buddy passes from my flight bennies on US Airways yet. I have a question concerning the non-rev first class upgrade certificates I can purchase. Since I am the flight benefit holder, all first class upgrade coupons I have purchased for my dependents in the past have been ticketed in my name (as I am the benefit holder and the agent just tickets them to me.) My dependents have used them with no problem. Does a first class upgrade coupon for a buddy pass need to be ticketed in the buddy's name? Is it possible to use one ticketed in my name as long as the upgrade fee has been paid? Thanks in advance!

Surely the US Airways pass travel team has a contact form on their intranet to address this issue? Assuming you work for US Airways, that is. I personally would want such information directly from the team that manages it, rather than rely on hearsay on a public forum when deciding on my non-rev travel plans.

It doesnt have to be done in the travelers name, just as long as the buddy pass person has one
