I previously did a thread on what aircraft type I flew on an overnight flight on a DL SFO-ATL flight in 1992, and I got an answer: it was a 763.
Now, I would like to know, what 767 variant did I fly on a DL ATL-SJU flight in July 1996? I know it was a 767, but I don't know if it was a 762 or 763.
The flight was a midday flight, where we had lunch onboard and arrived at SJU in the afternoon. Our prior flight arriving into ATL was a morning 722 flight from ORF.
EDIT: I don't know if this means anything, but I remember that the seats onboard that 767 were of autumn-like colors, such as red, orange, and tan.

I'm showing 11:50 dep / 3:26 arr flt # 464 equip. 767 (762) Lunch & Movie
Two other flights around that time are 757s.
The autumn colored seat covers were on ships 101-132 (or so). Later 763 domestics had the 767ER seat covers. It is possible you were on an early model 763 equipment swap.

Just as a side question, looking at the previous photo, I also remember the pull-down projection screens on my flight. However, on a 762 flight in 2005, there were flip-up screens instead. When did DL switch from the pull-down screens to the flip-up type?

The pull down screen was probably due to the "art" on the wall, as most DL movie screens were the flip type. The 767 F/C to Y/C bulkhead screen was always a flip screen because two bins could not be opened when watching a movie. The pull down screens were replaced with stationary silver screens sometime in the late '90s (to save on maintenance costs).
