AA 757 First Class Cabin

Hi everybody, next month I'm flying an AA 757 DFW-MIA, and I thought that there was no way I would get an aircraft with the new international first class cabins with the personal TVs, but I stumbled across this trip report:

It clearly shows here a JFK-MIA flight having the new cabins.....can I be hopeful now for this cabin?

Swaps happen, however getting one of the C16/Y166 birds on a DFW flight would be very unlikely. Those birds aren't scheduled for any DFW flights at all, so it would be very rare. I would however, look forward to a F24/Y166 bird with the newly remodeled interior!

Right now there is an AA MD-80 flying over my house.

Does anyone have an update on the refurbs? I found an old thread from back in February and it mentioned 30 aircraft were already refurbed at the time.

I also think the chances are pretty low. I've been on that JFK-MIA flight in the front cabin and it was very nice. I'll probably schedule my JFK-MIA trip this year on that same flight.

Since you are flying between two AA hubs it could be possible, though out of DFW would be unlikely.

I think that if you get the new domestic First rather than the old-Buick-back-seat-like seats it would already be a really good step forward already

Yes!! I saw those pictures here on a.net and I'm hoping not to get those!

Yup! I flew in those back in January, SJU-DFW. Comfortable seats, but they do not belong to this era anymore

I don't know how the new seats are. Are they like the 738 first class seats?

Does anybody have a picture of the new domestic first on the 752? I don't think there are any on a.net yet.
