Hey all.
I have flights booked on BA 285 LHR-SFO and BA 274 LAS-LHR on 9th & 20th Sept respectively for my mother's 60th birthday. We have 5 seats booked in WT+ on each flight. My questions are this. Traditionally are these flights over booked and upgrades are offered? What are my chanes of an upgrade? It may or may not make a difference, I am Executive Club Bronze
Thanks
Next Flights: EI DUB-LHR A320, BA LHR-SFO B744, UA SFO-LAS A320, BA LAS-LHR B744, EI LHR-DUB A320

Both flights are v busy and therefore tend to be overbooked. Obviously those customers who are more valuable to the company ie VIP's, Gold GL & Silver not to mention staff on confirmed F&J tickets will be upgraded first. IMO its unlikely that you'll get a better seat but I hope you enjoy your fligh non the less.

If BA are looking to upgrade people, unless there is a need to move a LOT of people, they'll move small groups (1 or 2 people) before moving a group of 5.
