Does it matter? Flights return to the gate for a multitude of reasons. If we started a thread on every single return to gate, delay, or cancel, this would overload the forum making this forum useless.

The OP asked a reasonable question. For whatever reason, he was curious as to why the subject flight returned to the gate. And no it's not that common. I've flown umpteen times and have never had a flight return to the gate.
This is an Internet site of aviation enthusiasts. If the guy wants to know if anyone else knows the details of why a given flight returned to the gate, then he has a right to have his curiosity answered, not insulted.
Someone asked last week why KLM did a go-around at SFO and got blasted in a similar manner. Fortunately, someone else politely informed him it was because a US A321 that landed just prior hadn't cleared the runway yet.
