I was wondering what AA 763 cabin layout looked like around 2002.

I flew AA174 from RDU to LGW on N359AA, but since I was only 11, I don't really remember much about the cabin.

Can anyone elaborate and maybe include some pictures?

Thanks,
Will

I'm pretty sure almost the same as it looks now.....do you remember if you were in the back section of the main cabin, or the little area towards that front that's more private, and with better TV screens?

Moving forward with the New American

I distinctly remember 3 classes of service...but maybe I am wrong..,

I was in the back section of economy, right behind the wing. No PTVs just middle of the aisle screens and one larger one at the front of the economy section.

There were 4 lavs at the back...now there appears to be only 2.

As far as I am aware, they utilized the 777 for the RDU-LGW and when they flipped over to LHR the 777 went away around 2006ish. I remember watching the 777 take off from the Sam Snead (?) grill. I know part of the problem why the 777 is no longer on that route is RDU didn't build a terminal gate where AA is (and only customs location) that could sustain the 777. The largest aircraft that fits on C23 is a 763 and barely as when the 763 is parked there, it knocks out C25 due to the wing being halfway into the parking zone of C25.
