I'm flying LHR-GIG-LHR and i was wondering which type of B777-200ER BA sends to GIG.
I've figured it out that it's the a/c type with no First Class Product, but do they send the newly refurbished a/c with AVOD, or the old version with IFE?
Kindest Regards

I have an idea that the older aircraft which didn't have AVOD weren't used on the longer sectors due to not having proper crew rest facilities. The older non AVOD aircraft are progressively now being refitted with AVOD, and its a system with a far greater capability than the previous one. I flew on VIIK last week and was surprised to see it had literally hundreds of TV programmes available.

I'm also flying this route this month and asked the same question. I founded the answer here:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...6-draft-guide-bas-777-fleet-5.html

There's a list of all BA772 and shows which ones have AVOD. I believe all flights to GIG (G-YMM's) have AVOD.

Regards
