I have booked a flight from Thessaloniki Greece to Zurich and then on to Arlanda Sweden. Both sectors are with Swiss. My concern is the 45min transit time in between flights. Baggage will be collected at Arlanda but is 45 mins enough? Has anybody had a similar experience?

Don't worry. You should arrive and depart from the A gates and 45 minutes is more than enough. When you exit the plane you have to look for your connecting flights. Sometimes you have to take a different exit whilst in the airbridge which leads you up to the departure level for your connecting flights. Baggage should also not be an issue. Zurich is usually a very smooth experience if it is Schengen to Schengen.

Indeed. There's should be no problem at all. ZRH has two piers for Schengen flights, Pier A and Pier B. If you arrive and depart from the same pier you'll need five minutes at max, if you have to go to the other Pier you'll need 10 minutes walking time. You'll probably even have time to spare to buy some Swiss chocolate. So no need to worry, and enjo your flight with LX!
