I just flew EWR-IAH on United on a 737-900, presumably ex Continental. I normally write down my tail numbers but didn't bother as United's web site lists the aircraft numbers on their web site. So now it says "Aircraft number 3435" and I can't seem to find any info about which actual N number goes with it.
Any help would be appreciated!
Soren

UA usually lists the nose number rather than the N number. I have no idea as to why they do this.

Quoting airtrainer (Reply 1): Hi Soren, you were on N75435 according to libhomeradar.org
Just checked it in our system. A/C 3435 is exactly as airtrainer states, N75435, a 737-900. With the merger going on, in the end, all UA aircraft will have 4 digit a/c #s. The 3000 a/c numbers are from the CO side, and the 4000s from the UA side, and those are the mainline flights only. COs was originally a 3 digit number.

I thought the sUA aircraft N numbers were going to stay the same, but all new incoming aircraft will have the NXXXXX "full numeral" tail number from this point on regardless if the aircraft was a sUA order or a sCO order....

Thanks for all your replies!
Could you also please get me the tail number of sister ship # 3451?
Is there any on line source to convert a UA aircraft number to their respective N number?
Thanks a lot!
Soren

Absolutely correct. All previous aircraft should be staying the same bureau they were, only with the new builds, a/c will be N(full numeral).
