Hi all, I have a flight connection in LAS on Friday, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what to do during a 1 hour, 45 minute layover. That doesn't seem like enough time to exit the airport and walk around the Strip, so I guess I'm stuck inside the airport. I have heard that there is an aviation museum: is that interesting? I'm under 21, so I can't use the slot machines. Oh and also, to get from the B Gates to the C Gates, do I have to walk back to Terminal 1 and take the people mover, or is there a walkway between the two sets of gates? Thanks for the help!

Do not try to go to the strip on a 1:45 layover. The cab line alone can be 45 minutes, and security can be bad coming back.
There is a walkway between the B and C gates. I do not believe that you can get to the people mover to go out to the end of C from that walkway, but C is not that long and you can also walk out to the end.
I can't decide whether I miss the tulip or the bowling shoe more

There are some interesting historic display cases (museum-like) outside C gate security IIRC. There is also free wifi in the airport. It works better at the C gates than at the B gates.
I agree that you don't have time to leave the airport, but if you go out to the display area keep an eye on the length of the security lines. Lines vary greatly with time of day, day of the week, and whether or not some massive convention has just ended.
