I noticed on Radar24 that VS40 appears to be makin an emergency decent into St. John's. Anyone know what's up with this flight?

And now just vanished. Odd, I wonder what's up with this or is a Radar24 error? It shows as G-VNYC, an A330-300

Flightaware says VS40 is ORD - LHR, diverting to Gander ...

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/VIR40

And reporting now that it has landed.

EDIT:

Virgin's website is showing an estimated 1.5-hour delay into LHR, which makes me think it's a medical diversion.

I'm tired of the A vs. B sniping. Neither make planes that shed wings randomly!

Thanks. For some reason flightradar24 showed it operating BOS-LHR. I figured it was medical. It came down very quickly and was not showing even quicker.

Question: This flight isn't showing as circling, and I'm not sure if VS' A330s have fuel jettison capabilities. Would a flight from ORD to LHR diverting to Gander be likely to land overweight? What kind of inspections would be required?

I'm assuming from the estimated 1.5-hour delay that the landing is not expected to be overweight.
