Quoting pugsley (Reply 1): It's looking very full. Currently showing 2 seats available in economy, 3 seats available in premium economy and 0 seats available in Business.
Hi Pugsley,
wrong answer. Was so hoping for some room to stretch. Am sure will somehow survive. Will be my first long haul economy trip this year. Just got back from Europe on Sunday and had the pleasure to fly in business on QF 52 on a 744 not yet refurbished so got seat 1K (former first class).

Well you never know, as a Plat you might get those 2 Y+ seats if the 3 are sold in Y (although don't hold your breath)
Last year flying back from LAX with my father (Plat) we got Y+ because of overbooking in Y, made all the better since we were on award tickets - I would have assumed that they would have upgraded paying customers rather than those travelling on X inventory
Is this from available inventory or the aircraft as a whole though? I have a feeling that they don't block any seats on this service at this time of year, but it could still be a possibility.
