Hi there
I have a question regarding the IFE on the B772ER which SQ use for their FCO, CPH, AMS and IST routes.
Do they feature the same content as KrisWorld on the other aircrafts? I know the interface is not the same but if the movies and TV programmes are, that would be great.

According to SQ's (very un-updated) website, "These entertainment choices are currently available on Singapore Airlines' A380, A340-500, A330-300, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 747-400 and selected Boeing 777 aircraft.", which seems to indicate that aircraft equipped with AVOD have the same programming (since only older regional B772s are not AVOD-equipped).
All of SQ's longhaul B772ERs are fitted with the Wisemen 3000 AVOD system, so the programmes available should be identical to that of SQ's newer eX2 system on the A380s, A333s and B77Ws.

Quoting LAX888 (Reply 2): Thanks a lot 9vswr! Is the low resolution screen also used in Business Class?
A 9.4" (IIRC) screen is used in J while a 6.5" screen is used in Y.
I'm not sure if the J screen has a higher native resolution, but if the screens are identical to the Y screens used on retrofitted regional 772s (they appear to be the same screen), then I would think so; the videos playing on the 9.4" screens appeared to be of better quality when I used these screens as compared to the 6.5" screens. Video quality on the older IFE screens are still a far cry from the newer HD screens, though.
