Last Bmi Flight?

Just a quick question, what will be BD's last proper flights (as in last flights operated as "bmi" and not already transferred over to BA)? The reason is I want to try and get on a final flight with them (yes I have left this a tad late)...

Thanks, ahh damn - won't be able to make that, are there any European flights that you know of that still operate as "bmi"?

I just flew on one today from LHR to TXL. It was aircraft G-DBCA. Last week I was on G-DBCD and it was in BA colors. G-DBCA was in BMI colors with a Lufthansa interior.

How long was BMI in existence? I'm not sure that I ever saw a BMI plane in person, but I remember photos of BMI 707s and Viscounts. It's depressing how many old guard carriers are disappearing.

Renamed: Derby Aviation in 1948, Derby Airways in 1959, British Midland Airways in 1964, BMI British Midland in 2001, BMI Airways Ltd in 2003.

Confusingly, this was a Lufthansa service, operated by bmi! Commercial control of the flight is held by Lufthansa, bmi are just a wet lease charter provider.
