Time to head home after a great time with my sister's family. Can someone let me know the load factor for QF 8 in economy from DFW to BNE on Tuesday, Oct. 23. My son and I currently have a row of 2 in the rear but am curious if I (platinum) should go for a row of 3 and simply leave the middle seat empty online.

On the flight to DFW a flight attendant mentioned that QF 8 is usually rather empty in economy due to weight restrictions. Is that true ? Thanks in advance for your feedback.
